Teleconsultation is  online, internet video consultation, can be very useful. For example, for those who live far from our clinic or are staying abroad, it can also be helpful. It is important to note that if the attending physician professionally considers that an online consultation cannot be conducted according to professional standards, we definitely recommend the usual personal consultation.

Further advantages of teleconsultation:

• Conveniently, you can speak with your attending physician from home or even from a café or restaurant, where there is an internet connection.

• You don't have to spend hours traveling, incurring additional costs.

• You don't have to take a day off from work.

• The examination does not miss even in case of illness.

• People with limited mobility can also easily reach their attending physician.

IMPORTANT! Teleconsultation is not equivalent to personal consultation and does not replace it! For the first examination, we definitely recommend a personal consultation.

PROCEDURE OF TELECONSULTATION:

• By phone or on the web interface, registration is done by filling in personal data, accepting the privacy statement.

• Fill out the form, book an appointment: https://www.diabetescentrumszeged.hu/en/appointment-booking

• Select teleconsultation in the nature of care.

• By selecting this, you only need to mark any appointment time.

• We send the closest available appointment to the time you indicated to the provided email address, and also send a form. The fee for the teleconsultation can be paid by cash or bank transfer, which is the same as the original consultation fee!

• If the finalized appointment is not suitable, please notify our colleague as soon as possible. If you have transferred the amount, you will receive another confirmation email with the final appointment. You can send the latest test results that you would show at a personal visit to your attending physician or dietitian to .

• After receiving the notification of the bank transfer, we automatically forward these test results to the selected attending physician or dietitian. We will send the electronic invoice for the transfer by email within 5 working days.

• If the attending physician professionally considers that an email consultation can be conducted according to professional standards, we will notify you and recommend personal appearance. We use external programs such as Google Meet for the consultation, which allows doctor-patient meetings in the electronic space, free of charge without downloading on a computer. The consultation duration is 10-15 minutes. You can modify your appointment once by email, 48 hours before the given appointment.

• Your attending physician or dietitian can review your previous test results available in the electronic space through the Health Center network from anywhere, thus making suggestions based on your overall health status.

• You can download or print the treatment sheet of the teleconsultation from the client portal. Other documentation (e.g., specialist recommendations, certificates for tax benefits or driver's license health eligibility) is also available through the client portal, ensuring that unauthorized persons do not access your personal health data. If you do not have client portal access, we will send the documents by email upon request, or they can be collected in person at the Health Center after prior arrangement.

• The medications recommended by the attending physician reach the electronic space (EESZT) during the consultation and can be dispensed at any pharmacy afterward.

  If the attending physician professionally considers that an online consultation cannot be conducted according to professional standards, we will contact you to arrange a personal consultation. In such cases, we definitely recommend personal appearance.
